Electric Forklifts

Quiet, zero-exhaust lifting for warehouse and yard · 2 t & 2.5 t battery counterbalance trucks

ZHONGMAI builds the CPD series electric forklift in 2 t and 2.5 t ratings at our factory in Jining, Shandong. It is a four-wheel electric counterbalance forklift for warehouses, workshops and paved yards — quiet enough to run indoors, with no exhaust to ventilate. Order it as a lead-acid battery forklift to keep purchase cost down, or with a lithium-ion pack that recharges in about 2.5 hours and accepts opportunity charging. Masts run from 3 m up to 9 m, fork lengths and colors are configurable, and every truck ships film-wrapped in a container or plywood case.

Lead-acid or lithium: pick the battery for your shift pattern

A battery forklift lives or dies by its charging routine, so we sell both chemistries. Lead-acid keeps the purchase price down and suits a single shift with overnight charging. The lithium-ion pack costs more up front but recharges in about 2.5 hours, takes short top-ups during breaks without damage, and needs no watering or equalizing.

The battery sits under a lifting hood with the charger cable and plug stored on top of the pack, so a driver can connect it without tools. Forklift battery capacity and voltage are matched to the duty you describe — tell us your shifts per day and typical loads and we will size the pack accordingly.

Built for daily warehouse work

The CPD series is a working electric warehouse forklift, not a show machine. The mast runs on heavy lift chains with a 6–12° tilt range, and the overhead guard, LED road lights and rear-view mirror in these photos are standard equipment — that is how trucks leave our yard, not an options list.

Solid tires — 6.50-10 on the 2.5 t truck — shrug off scrap, nails and curbs, and non-marking compounds are available for food plants and clean floors. A hydraulic side shifter, rotator, bale clamp or bucket can be fitted from the attachment list when your cargo is not a neat boxed load.

Every truck is function-tested at the factory, then film-wrapped and loaded into a container or plywood case for export. A charger and spare parts kit travel in the same shipment when ordered, and quotes are itemized because electric forklift price depends heavily on battery choice and mast height.

Four wheels, 2–2.5 t: where this truck fits

Both models are four-wheel electric counterbalance forklift trucks. Compared with a 3 wheel electric forklift, which trades stability for a tighter turning circle, the four-wheel chassis carries 2–2.5 t loads more calmly on ramps and uneven yard concrete. If your aisles are unusually narrow, tell us the width and we will recommend a configuration.

Capacity is not locked at 2.5 t either. The same family runs from a 1 t mini electric forklift up to 3.5 t, with 5 t configurations on request, so a mixed fleet can share parts, tires and one charging wall instead of three different service manuals.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does a 2 ton electric forklift cost?

It depends mostly on the battery. A lead-acid CPD-20 is the budget option; lithium-ion adds to the purchase price but cuts charging labor and maintenance over the truck's life. Mast height, tires and attachments also move the number. Send your duty cycle and destination port and we quote an itemized electric forklift price with freight.

How long does a lithium electric forklift take to charge, and how long does it run?

About 2.5 hours from low charge with the standard charger, and the pack tolerates opportunity charging — a 30-minute lunch top-up goes straight back into usable runtime. Lead-acid packs charge overnight instead. Runtime per charge depends on load weight, lift height and floor condition, so we size the battery to your shift pattern rather than quoting one universal number.

Do you have new electric forklifts for sale with lead-acid batteries?

Yes. Every model in the series ships either way: lead-acid for single-shift operations that charge overnight, lithium-ion for multi-shift work. Both come off the same line in Jining and share the chassis, mast and controls, so you can mix chemistries in one fleet without retraining drivers or splitting your spare-parts shelf.

Can I get a mini electric forklift, or something bigger than 2.5 t?

The series spans 1 t to 3.5 t, with 5 t configurations on request — the 2 t and 2.5 t trucks on this page are simply the volume sellers. The smaller 1–1.5 t units suit light cartons and tight floors. Tell us the heaviest load you handle in a normal week and we will match a model to it.

Is this a 3 wheel electric forklift?

No — both models are four-wheel electric counterbalance trucks. A 3 wheel electric forklift turns tighter but gives up some lateral stability at height; for 2–2.5 t loads moving between a yard and a warehouse, four wheels are the safer default. If your aisles demand a tighter radius, raise it with us before ordering.

Can the same electric forklift work indoors and outdoors?

Yes, on paved surfaces. Zero exhaust and low noise keep it acceptable inside enclosed warehouses and food plants, while the overhead guard, LED lights and rear mirror handle yard and ramp work. Solid tires are not rated for highway use, and for rough unpaved ground you should look at our rough terrain forklift line instead.
