Lead-acid or lithium: pick the battery for your shift pattern

A battery forklift lives or dies by its charging routine, so we sell both chemistries. Lead-acid keeps the purchase price down and suits a single shift with overnight charging. The lithium-ion pack costs more up front but recharges in about 2.5 hours, takes short top-ups during breaks without damage, and needs no watering or equalizing.

The battery sits under a lifting hood with the charger cable and plug stored on top of the pack, so a driver can connect it without tools. We match capacity and voltage to the duty you describe — tell us your shifts per day and typical loads and we'll size the pack accordingly.

Built for daily warehouse work

The CPD series is a working electric warehouse forklift, not a show machine. The mast runs on heavy lift chains with a 6–12° tilt range, and the overhead guard, LED road lights and rear-view mirror in these photos are standard equipment — that is how trucks leave our yard, not an options list.

Solid tires — 6.50-10 on the 2.5 t truck — shrug off scrap, nails and curbs, and non-marking compounds are available for food plants and clean floors. A hydraulic side shifter, rotator, bale clamp or bucket can be fitted from the attachment list when your cargo is not a neat boxed load.

Every truck is function-tested at the factory, then film-wrapped and loaded into a container or plywood case for export. A charger and spare parts kit travel in the same shipment when ordered, and quotes are itemized because electric forklift price depends heavily on battery choice and mast height.

Four wheels, 2–2.5 t: where this truck fits

Both models are four-wheel electric counterbalance trucks. Compared with a 3-wheel forklift, which trades stability for a tighter turning circle, the four-wheel chassis carries 2–2.5 t loads more calmly on ramps and uneven yard concrete. If your aisles are unusually narrow, tell us the width and we will recommend a configuration.

Capacity is not locked at 2.5 t either. The same family runs from a 1 t mini electric forklift up to 3.5 t, with 5 t configurations on request, so a mixed fleet can share parts, tires and one charging wall instead of three different service manuals.

Capacity and tonnage: 1 ton to 5 ton electric forklift

Capacity in the family runs from a compact 1 t truck up through a 1.5 t step for light assembly lines and beverage pallets, to the 2–2.5 t models on this page, which cover by far the widest range of ordinary warehouse work.

Above that, 3 t and 3.5 t models step into heavier pallet work — shipping containers, stone, steel coil — and 5 t machines handle paper rolls, machinery and bulk bags on 48 v or 72 v packs depending on cycle time. Every rating is quoted itemized by battery chemistry, voltage and mast height rather than a single printed number, since those choices move the price more than the tonnage does.

Electric counterbalance types: sit-down, stand-up, 3-wheel and 4-wheel

Sit-down is the configuration on this page — a full cab seat with an overhead guard, the most common style worldwide. A stand-up cab is available for narrow-aisle layouts where the operator dismounts frequently; we can quote that configuration on request.

A 3-wheel version turns tighter than our 4-wheel truck, because the single rear drive wheel doubles as the steering pivot — worth considering if your aisles are unusually tight, though the 4-wheel chassis holds a load more calmly at height and on uneven ground. Pricing for either is itemized by battery, mast and options.

A compact 4-wheel unit — smaller footprint for tighter aisles — is a different option again from a 3-wheel truck, and we also build walk-behind and stand-on pedestrian configurations for buyers who need a lighter-duty truck rather than a full counterbalance forklift.

Electric order picker and stock picker for racking and high shelves

An electric order picker is a purpose-built machine that lifts the operator to the pick face rather than lifting the load on a pallet — the platform rises with the forks so the picker can pull individual cartons off a beam directly. It's a different machine class from a standard reach truck or counterbalance forklift. A semi-electric version is a walk-behind with powered lift but manual travel, suited to lighter volumes and shorter pick runs.

A high-reach version covers racking heights a standard walkie can't touch — typically 3–6 m pick heights on supported masts. Whatever the configuration, the battery needs to last a full pick shift without a damaging deep discharge, which is why a lithium-ion pack is worth the premium for two-shift operations.

Side shifter, clamp and forklift attachments

Forklift side shifter attachments let the operator nudge the forks left or right without moving the truck — essential for tight pallet positioning against racking uprights or in containers. The side shifter bolts to the fork carriage and adds a few centimeters to the mast depth; all CPD series trucks are pre-drilled for this. An electric clamp forklift uses a hydraulic clamp instead of forks to handle drums, paper rolls, bales and round loads without a pallet. A rotator attachment spins the load 360° for tilting or dumping, and a positioner shifts individual fork tines apart or together for mixed pallet widths.

All attachments reduce net capacity by an amount listed on the rating plate — the de-rating is part of the safety certification, not a caveat we hide. When you order, tell us the attachment type and load geometry; we confirm the residual capacity and adjust the counterweight if needed.

Factory-Direct vs. Name-Brand Forklifts

Buyers often benchmark us against familiar names like Toyota or Yale when describing the lift capacity, mast height and turn radius they need. We don't manufacture or resell those trucks — we're a separate factory building an equivalent-spec machine at FOB pricing, with no distribution margin in between.

The right choice depends on your local service network. If an OEM dealer with same-day parts is across the street, that proximity may justify the premium. If not, factory-direct with a spares kit shipped in the same container is the more cost-efficient route for most export buyers. Rough-terrain and narrow-aisle needs are different product lines — ask us and we'll point you to the right page rather than stretch this truck past its design.

Buying, pricing and total cost of a new electric forklift

Price moves with battery chemistry, voltage, mast height and attachments — there's no honest single-line number. Every quote itemizes chassis, battery pack, charger, mast, tires and any attachments as separate lines, so a buyer comparing tonnage classes across suppliers is comparing like with like. We also stock motors and starters as spare parts for the CPD series.

Our answer to what the FOB number looks like is a factory quote within one working day, with freight to your port calculated separately, the charger shipped in the same container, and a spare-parts kit on the packing list. For buyers weighing purchase price against total cost of ownership, lithium's cycle life typically runs 2,000+ full cycles, and the maintenance savings against lead-acid — no watering, no equalizing, no acid spills — add up to real money over five years.
